National Reservation: NATO
(click song title to hear comparison)

Indian Reservation was a hit for Don Fardon in the 1960's and later a No1 US hit for Paul Revere And The Raiders. Laibach switch the subject of oppression from the US Cherokee Indians to the peoples of Eastern Europe. Perhaps the underlying implication is that it is the same oppressor, namely US cultural imperialism.
Instead of Ivan Milan's gravel tones we are treated to the rich deep voice of  Vasja Ulrih.

I could not find an original video of Don Fardon performing the song so here is a video of the Orlando Riva Sound performing their disco version of 'Indian Reservation' in 1979.
