I really like both versions of God Is God. You could play them
both and not realize that they are the same song. The
Juno
Reactor original is a techno trance track with a strong
middle eastern flavour, whilst the Laibach version is a heavy
rock approach with classical choral accompaniment. With hand on
heart I would venture to say that I like the original slightly
more than the Laibach version, but it really depends what mood I
am in.
Here is Juno Reactor's video for 'God Is
God', which uses scenes from the 1960 Armenian film 'Sayat Nova'.
