(click song title to hear comparison) Laibach cover the Queen classic, 'One Vision'. By using German
lyrics, against a marching drum beat, Laibach bring out the
fascist overtones of the original. It makes one wonder why the
original did not attract much controversy. Both versions are
great, but ultimately the Laibach treatment is more powerful. In
both cases you are not sure how seriously to take the artists
(although I believe it is this song more than any other that has
caused some to accuse Laibach of being Nazis).
