Laibach have turned
Slovenian band
Siddharta's
indie rock B-Mashina into a much darker version with deep spoken
vocals and a dramatic choral ending.
The tone has a greater sense of menace and foreboding than the original which dealt with the good and evil
within all of us. In Laibach's version the lyrics, in my
opinion, seem to suggest leaving the Earth much in the same vein
as 'The Final Countdown', perhaps after some great catastrophe.
